《7246》1/72 F-8E/J コクピット （アカデミー用）

F-8Eのコクピットを3Dモデリング・3Dプリントで再現しました。
コクピットタブ・計器盤（アンチグレアシールド）・リフレクタと、MB Mk.F7イジェクションシートのセットになっています。

サブタイプの多いF-8クルセイダーの中で、AN/APQ-94レーダーの表示装置を計器盤上部に装備したF-8Eのコクピットです。
コクピットタブ前方のラダーペダル、サイドコンソール、イジェクションシート後方のキャノピ開閉装置なども再現しました。
アカデミー用に形状を調整してあります。
キットのアンチグレアシールドを切除する必要がありますが、それ以外の加工は必要ありません。

Mk.F7イジェクションシートも付属します。
F-8クルセイダー初期ではVOUGHTイジェクションシートが装着されていましたが、F-8D以降ではMB Mk.F5Aに置き換えられています。
今回再現したMk.F7は、F-8A以外のサブタイプで換装により搭載されたイジェクションシートです。
アカデミー用に調整してあるため、キットの加工は必要ありません。

※MK.F7のイジェクションシートにはサブタイプが存在しますが、特定のサブタイプを再現したものではありません。

《7246》1/72 F-8E/J Cockpit (for Academy)

This cockpit set recreates the F-8E cockpit using 3D modeling and 3D printing technology.
The set includes the cockpit tub, instrument panel (anti-glare shield), reflector, and MB Mk.F7 ejection seat.

Among the many F-8 Crusader variants, this set reproduces the cockpit of the F-8E, which was equipped with the AN/APQ-94 radar display unit mounted on the upper instrument panel.
Details such as the rudder pedals at the front of the cockpit tub, side consoles, and canopy opening mechanism behind the ejection seat are also reproduced.
The shape has been adjusted specifically for the Academy kit.
The kit's anti-glare shield needs to be removed, but no other modification is required.

The MB Mk.F7 ejection seat is also included.
Early F-8 Crusaders were equipped with VOUGHT ejection seats, but from the F-8D onward, they were replaced by the MB Mk.F5A.
The Mk.F7 reproduced here was installed on various F-8 variants other than the F-8A through later modifications.
It has been adjusted for the Academy kit, so no modification is required.
