昨年公開された映画「風立ちぬ」「永遠の０」で一躍脚光を浴び、ブームになっている零戦＝零式艦上戦闘機。
映画を観た感動、興奮に思わず零戦のキットを作ってみたモデラーも少なくないだろう。
そこで今回の「ひこスペ」では２号続けて「零式艦上戦闘機」を大特集！各社、各スケールの作例に加え、恒例の塗装とマーキングの解説では、現存する、当時の色見本帳「海軍航空機用塗料色別標準・仮規117（昭和13年11月24日/昭和17年4月10日）」及び「航空機用塗料色別標準 : 日本航空機規格航格第8609 : 昭和二十年二月五日決定」を検証し、零戦の塗装色について再考察してみます。

The Timeless Allure of the Zero Fighter in the Spotlight Once Again
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero, or “Zero Fighter,” has once again captured the spotlight thanks to the popularity of the films The Wind Rises and The Eternal Zero, released last year. Many modelers, inspired by the emotion and excitement of the films, likely found themselves reaching for a Zero model kit.
In response to this renewed interest, Hiko-Spe will feature the Zero Fighter in a special two-part series! Alongside builds of various scales and manufacturers, this issue also includes our signature painting and marking guide. We reexamine the aircraft’s colors based on surviving wartime paint standard references, such as the Provisional Specification 117 (Nov 24, 1938 / Apr 10, 1942) and Aircraft Paint Color Standards: JAS Specification Kōkaku 8609 (Feb 5, 1945), providing fresh insights into the authentic colors of the Zero.
