帝都防空の専任航空隊として邀撃任務に従事した主力戦闘機たち

通称「厚木航空隊」として知られる日本海軍の第三〇二海軍航空隊（三〇二空）は帝都東京を中心とする関東防空の主力として邀撃任務に従事しました。昭和19年3月、海軍初の防空専任航空隊として誕生。零戦・雷電・月光・銀河・彗星等を装備し、大戦末期に本土へ侵攻してくるアメリカ軍機に対して必殺の斜め銃も駆使して果敢に立ち向かいました。今回は海軍三〇二空で活躍した機体を特集します。
